The descriptive qualitive method we used in this research with the subjects research are 10 students which consist of 2 students are in the high level, 6 students are in the middle level, and 2 students are in the low level. Furthermore, the test and interview were used to collect the data and the techniques used to analyze the data were education, data display, and conclusion / verication. The results show that the students in high, middle, and low level have the low spatial ability in spatial perception, and in general the Mathematics Education students at STAIN Bukittinggi in academic year 2014/2015 was low in all spatial ability including spatial perception, mental rotation, and spatial relations.
