Abstract

Coming in to the globalization era means entering into the world system and modernization which consequently must face the flow of change that is so fast and difficult to predict. Islamic education institutions are expected to face the challenges and changes that occur at this time. Islamic educational institutions should be able to take a greater role in preparing for next generations who are ready for the challenges and changes in the present and the future. Islamic education institution deals witha place of Islamic education. The educational institution of Islam from the aspect of the responsible person can be classified into three: (a) informal education institution, family, (b) formal education institution that is school, and non formal education institution, society. The strategy of Islamic educational institutions to be the winners in global competition is by making various efforts, namely improving human resources, improving management quality, developing Information-based management and technology, improving facilities and infrastructure, strengthening distinction and foreign languages, building networks and cooperation with various parties , and also developing scientific integration.
