Abstract

Students mathematichs achievement is still lower and learning still predominated by teacher. Result of research show students achievements complete by using STAD cooperative learning in eksperiment class equal to 87,5, whereas student's achievement complete by using conventional teaching in class control equal to 25%. Pursuant of effectiviness criterion STAD cooperative learning is effective for subject matter rectangular and rectangle. Result of statistical analisys ANAKOVA indicate that student's achievements following STAD cooperative learning better than conventional teaching.
