Abstract
HAMKA a Muslim intellectual figure of the Indonesian nation in the range of XX century. Borrowing Azra Azyurmardi statement about HAMKA, he mentioned that HAMKA is a figure of scholars, activists, politicians, journalists, editors and writers (Azyumardi Azra, 2008).
